Mohammed Hafizour Rahman, a highly accomplished finance and accounting professional, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh and a Fellow Chartered Secretary (FCS) of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh. He holds a Master on Professional Marketing (MPM) from the University of Dhaka, a Master's Degree in Management from Jagannath University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and has developed extensive professional experience in accounting, finance, audit, financial management, and the operation of non-banking financial institutions. Mr. Rahman's expertise encompasses a broad range of areas, including corporate finance, financial reporting, audit and assurance, budgeting and forecasting, credit and risk management, treasury management, regulatory compliance, business development, corporate governance, and strategic financial planning. He has significant experience in Initial Public Offerings (IPO), further issues of capital and rights offerings, financial analysis, portfolio management, and stakeholder management. His professional strengths also include leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills, financial forecasting, business strategy, and the development of initiatives to enhance organizational profitability and financial performance. Throughout his career, Mr. Rahman has held senior positions in reputable organizations. He has served as Partner of Chowdhury Hossain Rashid & Company, Chartered Accountants, and previously served as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Managing Director of Meghna Insurance Company Limited. He also spent more than 11 years with Fareast Finance & Investment Limited, progressing through positions including Vice President & CFO, Senior Vice President & CFO, Executive Vice President & CFO, and Deputy Managing Director & CFO. Earlier in his career, he worked as General Manager (Accounts & Finance) and Assistant Manager (Audit and Assurance) at Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co. Chartered Accountants. With extensive experience in financial institutions, audit and assurance, and corporate finance, Mr. Rahman has developed strong expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, risk management, corporate governance, business operations, and strategic decision-making. His professional experience with banks, non-banking financial institutions, insurance companies, and leading corporate organizations has equipped him with the knowledge and leadership capabilities required to address complex financial and business challenges and contribute effectively to organizational growth and long-term financial sustainability.
